INTRODUCTION
Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repellers- VHFO Tower model are electronic transmitters of high frequency sound waves (well above the 20KHz frequency which is the upper limit of human ear). They emit intensive sound at high decibel levels(sound pressure) that is audible and painful to rodents, but is inaudible and harmless to humans. The rodents usually leave the area being protected by ultrasound. They do not get killed.
Maser VHFO Tower model is a panel having a facility to connect four master consoles. Each master console is capable of supporting upto 20 transducers. Looping of the transducers is permitted in this system.
Each VHFO Tower can support upto 80 Transducers.
How Does MASER VHFO Tower Work?
The powerful sound waves generated by the transducers of VHFO Tower model are within the hearing range of many rodents and cause them pain and discomfort. Sometimes, the rodents will leave the area being protected immediately and at other times it will take as long as four to six weeks before there is a significant reduction in infestation. The transducers are quiet. If you cannot hear them, do not think the unit is not working. You cannot hear ultrasound.
THE SYSTEM
Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repellers- VHFO Tower model is a system of four master consoles and and 80 Transducers i.e.20 transducers per console. The VHFO Tower is wall mounted in the main control room/server room and the transducers in the problematic areas i.e. above and below false ceiling and below false flooring.
FEATURES
- Main Panel
The main panel comes with a facility to connect four consoles, has a front facia display and is suitable to be looped to 20 transducers per console. It needs a single power connection of 15A electrical plug point and comes equipped with a 3-pin power supply cord of 2.5 meters.
- Transducers
- Each transducer covers an open area of 400 sq. ft. when the average height of the ceiling is 10 ft. But if installed in the false ceilings or false floorings, it will cover an approximate area of 200 sq. ft. Each transducer occupies a maximum space of 5 Cu Inches. and comes with a blinking LED (optional, not recommended)
- The transducers are aesthetically designed to match your décor.
- The transducer can withstand high temperatures in the false ceilings and low temperature in cold storages and air locks.
- The transducers do not need a power connection.
- Cable
2 Core,flexible(14/40) SWG for connectivity between the transducers and the master console.
- Potential Free Contact for Alarms and Faults
Each panel comes with a potential free contact for alarm and fault.
- Modbus Converter / Interface for Modbus Output on RS-485
Each converter can support an integration of 20 panels. The potential free contact from each panel is terminated on the input side of the converter. Each converter has a total of 20 LED’s mounted on it i.e. one for each panel. In the event of panel failure the LED associated with the panel will start blinking indicating there is a fault. When all panels integrated with this converter are working fine then none of the LED’s will blink. The output side of this converter will give Modbus data associated with the status of all the panels i.e. whether they are ON or OFF. It will transmit the same on an RS-485 line for integration with any third party BMS system.
