Maser Auto Model is a Microcontroller based Digital Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller. These are electronic transmitters of high frequency sound waves (well above 20 Khz frequency) which is the upper limit of hearing range of the human ear. They emit intensive sound of high decibel levels (sound pressure) which are audible and painful for rodents but inaudible and harmless to humans. The acoustically hostile environment created by Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller – Auto Model induces auditory stress in rodents, thereby forcing them to leave the area being protected by ultrasound. They do not get killed.

Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller – Auto Model is a high frequency random signal generator operating between 2 bands i.e. 20 Khz to 50 Khz and 30Khz to 60 Khz. It has 5 different values for the Wave Speed parameter which is an indicator for the number of frequency sweeps per minute. The unit is programmed to 2 frequency bands of operation which are pre tuned for 100 different frequencies.

Fixing the Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller – Auto Model

Location
Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller – Auto Model has to be installed under the bonnet of the vehicle away from the engine. Necessary cable is provided to connect it to the vehicle’s ignition system. Alternatively the wires provided can be connected to a switch specifically for this unit on the dashboard of the car.

Activating the Unit

If the unit is interfaced with the ignition, it will be automatically be “ON” when the ignition is switched “OFF” and the unit will be “OFF” when ignition is switched “ON”. If a switch is placed on the dashboard for this unit, it should be switched “ON” everytime the car ignition is switched “OFF” (Make sure the Power ON switch on the unit is switched “ON” at all times) The ultrasound produced by Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller – Auto Model will bounce around under the bonnet of the vehicle to form an ultrasound field thereby protecting the vehicle’s accessories from rodents. The L.E.D on the machine will blink to indicate that the unit is working. Maser transducers are completely quiet. If you cannot hear them, do not think that the unit is not working. You cannot hear ultrasound.

Testing

the unit The unit comes with a test switch which will emit a “Beep Beep” sound when activated for testing. The power consumption is very negligible and will not have any noticeable effect on the battery. Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller – Auto Model is designed specifically for use in automobiles only, and will not be very effective in other areas.
